Thaiyal Nayagi (played by Trisha Krishnan) is a determined investigative journalist. She is a symbol of protest against the injustices of society, she is not afraid. She is raising her niece Sushmita as her own daughter, as per her brother's wishes. One day, Thaiyal sees that someone is using a fake Facebook account in Sushmitha's name. This fake profile is being used to talk to a foreign boy, which is suspicious. → Thaiyal herself entered that profile and started communicating with the boy, and learned that his name was Aalim.→ But Aalim is not just an ordinary lover, but a terrorist, a member of a Libya‑based militant group.

 Thaiyal, after learning this, informs the police and the Central Intelligence Agency. But here comes a twist —

→ Government agencies want to use Thaiyal as leverage — that is, they ask him to have a relationship with Aalim so that they can keep an eye on him.→ Thaiyal is hesitant — she feels that Aalim is a good person, because Aalim has worked to save many children and women in the war zone.
