Fall of the Roman Empire
The story begins in 5th-century Rome, where the Western Roman Empire is collapsing.
A young boy, Romulus Augustulus, becomes the last emperor.
The barbarian leader Odoacer attacks Rome.
Romulus’ parents are killed.
Romulus is captured and imprisoned on the island of Capri.
